A wonderfully insightful article. Many people talk about content marketing as a collection of tactics, rather than as a means to an end. That is the equivalent of a football team ONLY looking about stuff like First Downs, Completions, Yards and Turnovers, when there real goal is to win the game.
Us marketing types often do this, showing that we are executing on tactics, and even creating conversions, but forgetting that the real goal is to close sales.
